Dreamforce: 50,000 meets 50,000

We're approaching a massive milestone for CloudSpokes, with eerie timing. This milestone is one of our favorite metrics to monitor and track, and we're able to add some special perspective to it given some natural, coincidental, convergence.

In just about a week, San Francisco will welcome 50,000+ attendees (more than 70,000 registered) to Salesforce's annual Dreamforce conference. There are so many attendees that nearly every hotel within a 25 mile radius have been sold out for months. There are so many parties, that the conference has it's own party app. There will be more than 750 expert-led sessions over the course of four days. Dreamforce is the largest cloud-computing event in the world.

And during the conference, while Kartik and Naveen are experiencing all they earned during Code Your Way To Dreamforce, CloudSpokes' developer member count will cross 50,000 - nearly the exact same number of attendees expected at this year's Dreamforce. It's mind-boggling to imagine that the same overflowing, dense crowd of cloud fanatics at Dreamforce will shortly equal the amount of developers on CloudSpokes:

If you're one of the CloudSpokes 50,000 attending Dreamforce, we'd love to see you while you're there. It’s truly an amazing time to be a cloud developer. When you’re walking around San Francisco next week and dodging people from all walks of life from all over the world, think about CloudSpokes bringing that same diversity and energy to cloud development.

We have a number of surprises coming, a killer developer meetup we're hosting, and a handful of sessions we’re speaking in. Here are the events to add to your calendar:
